The detection-type safety device is an advanced press safety device featuring good safety performance and high sensitivity; it comes in two types: light-based and motion-sensing. Its basic working principle is to create a protective barrier (a light barrier or sensor barrier) to enclose the dangerous area of the press, or to place it along the path that leads to that dangerous area. When a part of the human body enters a dangerous area (or approaches one), it will inevitably disrupt the integrity of the protective barrier, and the blocked signal is immediately detected by the device. The signal is amplified to cut off the control circuit of the press, causing the slider to stop moving or preventing it from starting, thereby avoiding accidents involving people. The moderators have been asking a lot of questions like this recently. Could they consolidate them into one list so that everyone can learn from it?
