Gantry cranes belong to the category of boom-type lifting machinery; in addition to the four basic mechanisms of lifting, rotating, luffing, and traveling, they also have auxiliary mechanisms. The auxiliary mechanisms of a gantry crane include the following components: gantry conveyor belt, water spraying device, water suction device, telescopic hopper, inclined chute, and electric hatch door. Among them, the gantry belt conveyor can be operated via the control panel in the auxiliary cab of the portal crane, and is equipped with protection mechanisms for primary deviation, secondary deviation, and emergency stop pull cords. The water spraying device and the water suction device are controlled and activated by the water spraying motor and the water suction motor built into the gantry crane, which effectively prevents the mechanisms of the gantry crane from being contaminated by dust and other impurities during operation and thus avoiding problems. The telescopic hopper and the inclined chute are connected to each other via a mechanical linkage; operations such as telescoping, moving forward, moving backward, and stopping can be controlled through the control panel. Electric sliding doors are generally equipped with safety protection devices such as short-circuit protection, overcurrent protection, and travel limit protection.
