Eligibility criteria for exemption from chemical engineering registration exams

I have a question: Why is the deadline set for December 31, 2002? Or is it sufficient as long as the length of service meets the requirements? As of December 31, 2002, those who meet one of the following conditions could be exempted from the basic exam and only needed to take the professional exam. ⑴After obtaining a doctoral degree in this field, have accumulated at least 5 years of experience in chemical engineering design work ； Or, after obtaining a doctoral degree in a related field, having worked in chemical engineering design for a total of 6 years. ⑵After obtaining a master’s degree in this field, have accumulated at least 6 years of experience in chemical engineering design work ； Or, after obtaining a master’s degree in a related field, having worked in chemical engineering design for a total of 7 years. ⑶Having obtained a double bachelor’s degree including in this field, or having completed a graduate program in this field, and having accumulated at least 7 years of experience in chemical engineering design work ； Or obtain a double bachelor’s degree in a related field, or complete postgraduate studies, and have accumulated at least 8 years of experience in chemical engineering design work. ⑷After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in this field, have accumulated at least 8 years of experience in chemical engineering design work ； Or, after obtaining a bachelor’s degree in a related field, having worked in chemical engineering design for a total of 9 years. ⑸After obtaining an associate degree in this field, have accumulated at least 9 years of experience in chemical engineering design work ； Or, after obtaining an associate degree in a related field, having worked in chemical engineering design for a total of 10 years. ⑹Having obtained a bachelor’s degree or higher in another engineering field, with at least 12 years of cumulative experience in chemical engineering design work. ⑺After obtaining an associate degree in another engineering field, having worked in chemical engineering design for a total of 15 years. ⑻After obtaining a secondary vocational diploma in this field, having worked in chemical engineering design for a total of 25 years ； Or, after obtaining a secondary vocational diploma in a related field, having worked in chemical engineering design for a total of 30 years.
The exemption from the basic chemistry test is a one-time opportunity; in other words, if you meet the requirements at the time those rules were established, you are exempt from the test, but if not, you have to take it. Those who qualify for this exemption are currently generally at least in their fifties
It’s for taking care of the senior experts, and it’s also to issue some certificates to the compound before the exams start. To be honest, I guess the idea of having these certifications came from those in charge of the compound.:lol
