Working methods at chemical engineering design institutes

I have been working for almost two years now. I would like to ask fellow colleagues: what are the working methods and procedures in various institutions across the country, and what is the relationship between different specialties?
The working methods in design institutes and the process of exchanging materials between different specialties are roughly similar.
So, when exchanging documents, should it be in paper form or electronic form? Some software allows different specialties to exchange documents within the same electronic file!
It depends on the requirements of your company; some organizations don’t have 3D software, while others lack paperless office systems.
Well, we currently use paper-based methods for office work, and we are planning to switch to a paperless system. What are the advantages and disadvantages of these two approaches, and which one is more efficient for carrying out tasks? Software vendors only talk positively about paperless office work!
