The ammonia nitrogen level keeps rising and doesn’t go down

In the A/O process, the treatment efficiency was good for several days. However, a few days ago, wastewater with high pollutant levels was discharged secretly at night in the workshop. The COD level of the water entering the regulation tank rose from 1600 to 3100, while the ammonia nitrogen level increased from 240 to 320. Since this occurred at night, it wasn’t detected in time; by the time it was noticed in the morning, the ammonia nitrogen level in the discharged water had risen from 2.6 to 22. Now, after several days, there has been no significant improvement. We have already controlled the inflow of water, diluted it by adding more water, kept the pH around 7.2, and maintained the dissolved oxygen level at around 4. The SV30 value is 35. Does anyone have any good suggestions?
Increase the reflux ratio; the settling ratio can be improved a bit if it is low.
The load impact is irreversible; it is recommended to remove the sludge first and then add fresh sludge
