It’s been a few years since I graduated, and my work has nothing to do with English. Now I want to make up for that; how can I break this connection in an effective way?
It’s simple; just marry a foreign wife and you’ll be fine. :lol
Watch English movies and talk with foreigners. . .
You need to think about whether your motivation to learn English is simply because you want to make up for not knowing it Learning English requires perseverance, so motivation is very important; it certainly won’t work to be inconsistent and give up after a few days. So first, think about why you want to learn; sustained motivation is the foundation for mastering English. If you really want to learn*, a basic vocabulary is essential. You can watch your favorite American shows over and over again, figure out each word, and listen to them repeatedly until you know them perfectly well

I think it would be good to find a foreign teacher to help with speaking practice; a foreign teacher can effectively correct one’s pronunciation and grammar mistakes. I signed up for online lessons with a foreign teacher, 25 minutes per day, and I recorded those sessions so that I could listen to my own recordings – it’s the best way to identify mistakes. Once an error is detected, correct it immediately and then repeat the process; by practicing in this manner over and over again, satisfactory results will surely be achieved after one or two weeks.
