Single-reactor fluidization is relatively safe, but it is necessary to maintain an appropriate pressure difference and ensure that the temperature of the lift pipe is not too low, in order to prevent problems with the catalyst and sludge
Why is single-unit fluidization considered safer?
With both vessels in circulation and having material levels, how can there be cross-contamination between them?
Handle it by initiating an emergency shutdown immediately; the problem of a clogged reactor bed will be resolved then. Otherwise, whether it is single-bed fluidization or normal two-bed fluidization, burning oil must be continuously injected to maintain the bed temperature.
Decide whether to fluidize the two reactors based on the temperature of the regenerated gas bed
For the time period in question, two reactors are used for fluidization; if there is a long interruption, then single-reactor fluidization or bed shutdown is required. This is safe and energy-efficient.
First, avoid overheating, and control the differential pressure between the two stages to prevent mutual influence.
