What is the relationship between the liquid levels in the sulfur-free rich methanol flash tank, the sulfur-containing rich methanol flash tank, and the third tank? Previously, the liquid levels in these three tanks were easy to adjust and could be stabilized quite easily. It has now been found that when adjusting the liquid level in the new flash tank, the liquid levels in the other two tanks are easily affected, resulting in fluctuations. It is necessary to operate the valves extensively to prevent the liquid levels from rising or falling too much. The liquid levels in these three tanks are adjusted only slightly on a daily basis, with larger adjustments being made only when making additions or subtractions. Is it because the valve isn’t working properly, or what? Every time, adjustments are made based on the trends. Seeking advice
Is it possible that the liquid level in the new flash tank is too high? Excessive fluctuations occur when trying to adjust the liquid level in this tank, which in turn causes large pressure fluctuations in the other two tanks and leads to fluctuations in their liquid levels as well
