1. University (UNIVERSITAS) refers generally to institutions that provide higher education, namely higher educational organizations that offer teaching and research facilities and are authorized to confer degrees, including comprehensive universities, colleges, and vocational schools. 2. The teaching levels in universities are generally divided into two types: postgraduate and undergraduate ； Postgraduate students include those at the master’s and doctoral levels, while undergraduate and junior college students are divided into the bachelor’s and junior college levels. Teaching methods are mainly divided into full-time and part-time types. 3. Vocational and technical schools, abbreviated as “vocational schools”, are a branch of secondary vocational schools. It refers to schools that focus on vocational skill training and improving the employment rate of the workforce, and are a product of the educational model characteristic of China. Technical training can enhance competitiveness in the job market, and upon passing skill assessments, one can obtain **recognized professional qualification certificates as well as a secondary vocational education diploma. 4. Vocational schools are targeted at developing practical hands-on skills and improving the technical competence of students. **Technical talent is relatively scarce; **great emphasis is placed on the training of such talent. Technicians who graduate from technical schools are referred to as blue-collar workers, and they generally receive higher salaries, especially those with extensive technical experience. Vocational schools come in two types: ordinary vocational high schools and specialized schools that offer an associate degree. If it is a vocational school that offers a diploma at the junior college level, in addition to obtaining a diploma just like in a university, the more important advantage is the opportunity to learn a specific skill. Additionally, the length of study at vocational schools varies; most require only two years to graduate. How should we view it? It is said that vocational and technical education is not recognized by most companies; is it still necessary for us to pursue development in this field? For higher vocational education, it is better to have enterprises carry out the training, as this helps to address the employment issues of graduates while simultaneously preventing talent loss in companies； In colleges and universities, no matter what major one studies, unless the family arranges an employment agency for them, they have to start from scratch after graduation. What’s truly useful are computers; English might not even be necessary. If it’s on-site, well, even fewer things will be available for use.
Vocational and technical programs are not recognized by most enterprises
Before the restructuring of state-owned enterprises, large companies had their own affiliated schools, such as technical schools and higher vocational institutions. Currently, such schools are under the control of local governments. But with the withdrawal of enterprises, such schools lose their meaning, mainly because there is no longer any targeted training provided. Universities aren’t perfect either; most of the time, people just muddle along. Get a few better ones; they can be trained over time. Universities are nothing but money-making machines.
In fact, this is the flaw in society. There are still so many cases of non-approval, and no one is dealing with it? Current policies still encourage such schools, but it is doubtful whether they can produce qualified skilled workers.
It doesn’t have much to do with whether there is a restructuring or not. There are still quite a number of enterprises in the manufacturing sector in China, with which strategic agreements can be signed. As for colleges and universities, the result of expanding enrollment is a shortage of students at present. A place where several students can support one teacher – it’s really unclear where all the money goes. After graduation, the school can’t do much to help with finding a job. I posted before that many classmates from the same class have been scammed.
This is the current situation! In the end, it’s the ordinary people who suffer the most! Spending so much money to finish graduation, only for many things to revert to their original state
Then there are various policies to encourage you to start a business. It seems there’s a new claim now that college students can earn credits by starting a business.
Really, they come up with every kind of trick – instead of studying properly in college, *what a shame*. I’m really amazed
Therefore, in any era, it is the ruling class that is the real winner. In fact, students and parents should be aware of the realities of society and not have overly high expectations of schools or academic qualifications. Just like when a person graduates with a doctorate, his grandmother thinks that after graduation he should at least become a governor! ;P
