After the ammonium sulfate production unit operated for a few hours and started working normally, why couldn’t the main mother liquor pump deliver fluid? The pump was checked and found to be in good condition
The inlet is either blocked by crystals or there isn’t enough liquid level, resulting in air absorption; please conduct a thorough inspection to confirm this.
It’s really possible that the inlet pipe is blocked； But a desaturator can be used to solve what?
There was too much crystallization in the mother liquor, which blocked the downcomer of the saturator and resulted in no mother liquor available in the crystallization chamber.
Hehe, no doubt about it – I encountered this situation several times over a decade ago due to sudden power outages. When there was a lot of crystal formation, the only solution was to remove the ammonium sulfate crystals from the saturator’s crystal chamber, and then replenish the saturator with the liquid from the mother liquor tank; this was much simpler than trying to reverse the saturation process.
