If it contains trivalent chromium, the reagents you add will not cause any significant reaction. If it contains hexavalent chromium, a reaction will occur and the carbon tetrachloride layer will turn purple. Also, make sure to write the chemical molecular formula correctly in the future. Using only lowercase symbols may lead to misunderstandings or complete confusion among those who read the post and don’t have much knowledge of chemistry.
