Which one is more resistant to acids (alkali acids, sulfuric acid), enamel or graphite? And which one is more resistant to alkalis (liquid caustic)? ? It’s best to back up claims with data or regulations. Also, is steel-lined graphite or steel-lined enamel a good choice?

Enameled materials have strong acid resistance; only a few types of acids can corrode them (such as hydrofluoric acid). Graphite has good alkali resistance, but it contains micropores, so it needs to be impregnated with resin. Steel lined with enamel is what is known as glass-lined steel.
Enameled surfaces have poor resistance to alkalis, which can lead to corrosion and the formation of tiny holes on their surface; electrical spark testing can detect conductivity in such areas.
