In the device, some drain valves are too close to the main pipe; as a result, they cannot be operated after insulation is applied. Is there any clear standard specifying the distance between the drain valves and the main pipe?
I don’t see any such rule. But the valve should be exposed outside the insulation layer.
I searched for many standards but couldn’t find any specific requirements; it seems I’ll have to check things myself
For this type of backflow system, it’s sufficient to use axonometric drawings during construction; the design agency will provide you with the necessary dimensions, so there are usually no problems
I asked the designers, and they said there’s no standard; generally, it’s required to be less than 15 cm
