Someone told me how, when establishing the washing cycle for the methanol wash tower in an MTBE plant, the liquid level of the wash water at the top of the tower is determined Can the level gauge at the top of the tower display the wash water level before C4 is introduced? Why?
The top level gauge can display the level when only water is fed in; when no feed is supplied, it is sufficient to keep the level at 30% of the minimum level, and the level will rise after feeding begins.
