It is a type of raw material in which the lighter components account for 10% and the heavier components also account for 10%. This needs to be processed in a distillation column, using the method of drawing off material from the middle section of the stripping zone. Is this feasible? Will the boiling range of the material drawn off via side streams meet the requirements?
Usually the results are not very good; it would be best to add a simple stripping tower after the side extraction. Or operate directly using a packed tower.
