Dear all**, I have a question: For example, in the case of a control valve that has already been installed on site, and leakage is detected during a valve leakage test, given the pressures before and after the valve as well as the dimensions of the pipeline, is it possible to calculate the amount of leakage? ? ? I checked the relevant standards; they all contain formulas for calculating the maximum leakage amount. So how is the leakage amount on-site measured???
Measure the medium that has leaked out. And the allowable leakage rate ratio. The allowable leakage amount of a control valve is different from that of a regular valve; it is related to the valve’s capacity and needs to be calculated.
Is it also measured in drops, just like the leakage rate of mechanical pumps?
