The first major shutdown of our plant is approaching. What should we do regarding the adjustment of the reaction pH, and how should we handle the reactor’s re-entry into operation? I would appreciate some advice from the experts here.
I can only outline the general steps: 1. Remove acid and hydrocarbons from the reactor and settler; 2. Displace with nitrogen; 3. Release pressure from the reaction system; 4. Prepare 2 tons of alkaline solution to neutralize the residual acid in the reactor; 5. Monitor the temperature and pressure in the reactor; 6. Wash and rinse with demineralized water; 7. Dry; 9. Check for corrosion in the components; 10. Address any issues that arise

It’s best not to add alkali solution to the reactor; a sedimentation tank is acceptable. QQ: 278913600
