The sulfuric acid tanks in our factory require level measurement; the acid consists of 98% concentration. The tank walls are protected with acid-resistant bricks, so it’s not possible to install flanges on the sides. There is a drain outlet at the bottom, and a spare flange at the top. The radar level gauge that was used before caused problems due to the swirls that occur on the surface once the pump starts operating, as well as the layer of foam on the surface of the sulfuric acid, which greatly affected the accuracy of measurements. May I ask experts what is the best type of level gauge for such conditions?
Should a float ball work? Should magnetostriction work too?

Additionally, the air-blown level gauges commonly used in the sulfuric acid industry in the past are a good choice; although their accuracy is not high, they are durable. Our factory uses float level gauges, but they are difficult to maintain
An anti-corrosive immersion level gauge can be used when the temperature is not too high
Radio frequency admittance and magnetostriction can be considered
The automatic acid concentration meter from Nanhua Research Institute is quite good
Our company uses single-flange level gauges. .
Personally, I think a guided wave radar should work for the conditions described by the poster
