In my opinion, equipment should be classified into four categories: moving equipment, stationary equipment, electrical equipment, and instrumentation equipment. However, it’s difficult to determine the specifics within each category, especially when it comes to electrical and instrumentation equipment. For example, a reaction kettle consists of a kettle body, a stirrer, a reducer, and a motor. How should such components be counted? Similarly, for each pump, should the motor be classified as a mechanical device or an electrical device? ; Another example is instrumentation equipment, which seems more complex. Calculating this way, determining the total number of devices in an entire factory is a considerable task that requires a dedicated person to handle it. The people in charge of equipment systems are usually very busy, so it’s not easy to carry out this task properly and obtain accurate figures. I wonder if anyone has done this before and how they went about it. Are there any specific regulations regarding the count of equipment that I could refer to?
