Aspen Plus pump does not converge

In simulations, it’s common to encounter errors related to the pump units during flash calculations. However, the simulations I’m working on don’t require any calculations related to pumps; all that’s needed is to change the pressure. Is there a simple way to adjust the pressure of the fluid flow or to make it easier for the pumps to converge? The idea that comes to mind is using transfer functions, but this approach makes the process seem discontinuous, and it becomes difficult when there are many pumps involved
Just set the pressure on the next control unit, isn’t that it?
