The quantity is inspected according to the list provided by the steel structure manufacturer; generally, each component has a separate identifier that is marked on it. The comparison list should match the actual items, with the numbers and quantities being consistent. The components come with drawings, but generally, there is no need to check each one against those drawings; instead, the main focus is on verifying that the dimensions are correct. If problems are encountered during installation, they shall be resolved jointly by the construction party and the manufacturer. The concern for Party A is to inspect the quantity according to the list and then hand it over to the construction unit. If it is of great importance, it is necessary to examine the technical requirements specified in the contract – aspects such as the steel grade, paint color codes, and welding quality must all be taken into consideration and carefully reviewed.
For the steel structure of a factory roof, is it better to construct it on-site, or to prefabricate it first and then transport it to the installation site for assembly?
Generally, the construction conditions in factory buildings are better, and manufacturers are also reluctant to carry out production on-site. However, if the roof truss has a large span, transportation becomes difficult, and it can only be fabricated and installed on site.
