Problems with radar level gauges equipped with waveguides

The radar shows no reading at the site currently, while the central control panel indicates 1m. The actual liquid level is around 2.3. The waveguide has some corrosion. The icing in the upper waveguide of the radar has been removed, and the readings remain unchanged. What’s the reason?
Could it be caused by corrosion of the waveguide? The material used for instruments must be chosen appropriately; otherwise, the functions of the instruments cannot be ensured.
