The list of the “Top 60 Chinese engineering design firms in 2014”, selected by well-known industry media in collaboration with Engineering News-Record (ENR), has been released. According to statistics, with the total number of companies on the list remaining unchanged, in 2014 as many as 13 new Chinese engineering design firms made it onto the list, compared to previous years. Some well-known design firms that were previously on the list have successfully transformed and now appear on the list of China’s top 80 contractors. According to the rankings, the total annual design revenue of China’s top 60 engineering design firms in 2013 was 106.08 billion yuan, representing a slight increase of 0.8 percentage points compared to the previous year’s total design revenue of 105.24 billion yuan. Among them, Sinopec Engineering Construction Co., Ltd., China Power Engineering Consulting Group Corporation, and China Chengda Engineering Co., Ltd. ranked among the top three among China’s 60 leading engineering design companies in terms of revenue generated from engineering design services, with amounts of 10.067 billion yuan, 6.624 billion yuan, and 6.104 billion yuan respectively.
