They are defined as pipelines with a maximum operating pressure of 0.1 MPa (gauge pressure) or more, carrying gases, liquefied gases, steam, or liquids that are flammable, explosive, toxic, corrosive, and have a maximum operating temperature equal to or higher than their standard boiling point, and with a nominal diameter of 50 mm or more.” Except for pipes with a nominal diameter of less than 150 mm and a maximum operating pressure of less than 1.6 MPa (gauge pressure), as well as the pipes that form part of the equipment used for transporting non-toxic, non-flammable, and non-corrosive gases. ” How is combustibility defined in the aforementioned definition? (1) As described in 3.11 of GB/T 20801.1: Flammable and combustible media refer to fluids classified as Category A and Category B according to GB50160 and GB50016, as well as those whose operating temperature is higher than their flash point ; (2) As defined in the petrochemical code GB50160, flammable liquids also include Propanol A/B. (3) According to SY/T6460-2000, flammable liquids refer to liquids with a closed-cup flash point equal to or higher than 37.8°C. The question is, for example, does lubricating oil of Category C (with a flash point of around 200°C) qualify as a flammable liquid under the definition of pressure pipelines?
