Is the dry gas desulfurization tower a packed tower?
I see some design institutes offering packed towers – which one is better?
Relatively speaking, the efficiency of packed towers is higher. Of course, the choice of tower type should be determined after weighing factors such as processing capacity, floor area, post-treatment capability, initial investment, and the owner’s requirements
Packed tower? Relatively speaking, it is used less in floating valve towers. If the tower diameter is too small, there’s nothing that can be done; it’s not possible for people to enter the tower to install the trays. Towers with a diameter of less than 800 probably cannot be equipped with trays. Secondly, the use of larger tower diameters in packed towers is due to specific requirements regarding tower pressure drop, as packed towers have relatively low pressure drops.
Can trays with a weight of less than 800 be lifted in from the outside for installation?
