Discussion on the water washing and separation process

Dear teachers, I have a question: I am currently working with a type of resin that requires washing in water in order to remove salts from it. However, this resin has a density similar to that of water, and the mixture with water tends to emulsify, making it impossible to separate the water from the resin. I would like to know what methods can be used to achieve phase separation. At present, the only method available is gravity-based separation, as centrifugal separation is not possible with the equipment I have. Looking forward to the teachers' guidance!
The basic equipment doesn’t have a filter press; should water washing be considered instead? How can water washing be carried out?
Cross-flow filtration to achieve separation and washing
Add a solvent to reduce the specific gravity and wash; after washing, remove the solvent.
