Nitrogen sealing issue for equipment pipelines

Question: If nitrogen sealing is not performed after purging the equipment pipelines, what is the likelihood of rust forming on those pipelines? Location: North; high humidity. No nitrogen sealing for 3 months. The material of the equipment pipelines is carbon steel. Thank you for your helpful advice! ! !
If it has been chemically cleaned, it’s better to use nitrogen sealing. The dew point is very low in the north right now. Is it by the sea?
