Where should the LPG sampling port be located? Is it feasible between the root valve and the isolation valve? Furthermore, what diameter is appropriate for the sampling port, and what material should be used for the stopcock valve?
The location of the sampling port should first take into account ease of sampling; ideally, it should be in a position where a person can stand facing the prevailing wind direction throughout the year. The valve selection and the size of the sampling bag nozzle are similar, making sealing easy.
Any location that facilitates sampling will do; sealed sampling is generally carried out at the manual valves before and after the control valve. For non-hermetically sealed sampling, it usually consists of a DN15 gate valve (flanged) followed by a needle valve, with a stainless steel short tube with an outer diameter of 6 mm connecting to it.
When joining a DN15 short pipe with a 6mm stainless steel pipe, is it necessary to fabricate a transition fitting on-site?

A suggestion: If sampling is done online, the sampling points can also be arranged in a circular pattern; however, there needs to be a pressure drop at both ends to ensure that circulation occurs and dead samples are avoided. A circular arrangement can help minimize the amount of material discharged during sampling.
