Temperature is the most important parameter for controlling the concentrations of free ammonia and ammonium ions in water, with steam stripping being used to reduce the partial pressure of ammonia in the gas phase. Based on the measurable levels of ammonia nitrogen and sulfides in the purified water, it can be seen that the entire tower will not cause such effects under reasonable operating conditions.
Do you usually test the salt content in purified water?

Currently, we only test the chloride content, which generally does not exceed 30mg/l; acid ions that cannot be removed through stripping will bind with ammonium. This was covered in my previous topics, namely the two related topics regarding the process of adding alkali to wastewater.
Under normal operating conditions, ammonium salts should not form inside the tower; it seems that ammonium salt crystallization only occurs when the heating in the pipelines is insufficient. I’m not sure if this is the case in reality
I would like to ask what the levels of NH3 and H2S are in the acidic water fed into the tower, as well as what the operating conditions of the acidic water stripping tower are. Thank you
