Since the major shutdown for maintenance this year, the liquid levels in the extraction and recovery towers have remained high, requiring external drainage almost in every shift. Before the shutdown, little waste was discharged outside, only once every few months. What is the reason for this?
1. Internal leakage in the water supply valve causes a high liquid level； 2. Internal leakage in the heat exchanger or pump causes circulating water and steam to enter the extraction and recovery system. Leaks in general water supply pipelines are quite common ； Additionally, it is necessary to check the coolers, reboilers, and pumps whose pressure is higher than the operating pressure of the two towers.
