Under normal conditions, are there any differences in temperature at various points when the motor and pump are operating?
It hasn’t been measured specifically, but there’s an unwritten rule: it shouldn’t be hot to the touch.
For some units’ temperature guns, when selecting measurement points, we usually conduct a general test on the back of the hand~~~~
The pump shaft temperature should not exceed 60°C, and the motor temperature should not exceed 65°C℃
The motor temperature rise shall not exceed 40 degrees.
This is related to the ambient temperature, bearing type, and lubrication method, right? The general requirement is that the bearing temperature should not exceed the ambient temperature by 15°C; the temperature of rolling bearings should not exceed 70°C, while that of sliding bearings should not exceed 60°C. In practical engineering applications, if you can touch the pump bearings with your hand for more than 5 seconds, the temperature will generally not exceed 65°C. So, people generally use their hands to feel for temperature instead of a thermometer.
