Dear experts: Hello everyone! How can I determine if there is a leak in the convection section of the pyrolyzer? What is leaking? Is it determined by the black smoke, blue light, and steam coming from the chimney? If possible, I would appreciate it if it could be more specific. Thank you. Or are there any references I can consult?
If smoke is coming from the chimney, it means the furnace tubes are damaged. Isn’t there a viewing hole? Just open it and take a look
With a radiant section furnace tube, everything is easy to detect. The key is the convection section; there’s no place to observe it on-site. If the leakage is severe, it may be possible to determine it by the exhaust gas temperature or the negative pressure in the furnace, as well as the feed pressure
