During maintenance, it was found that a large number of floating valves on the tray had fallen off; these valves were then reinstalled manually. After the unit started operating, abnormal conditions were observed in the tower, and it was suspected that there was a problem with the installation of the floating valves. It gets stuck; perhaps it cannot come down after being blown in, and the gap remains large, leading to leakage. The separation capacity of the tower decreases, as does the purity at both the top and bottom of the tower. If it gets stuck and cannot be blown in, the porosity decreases, the separation capacity drops as well, and this may also cause liquid leakage
Tower resistance increases; The mass transfer efficiency decreases, and the purity of the components drops.

When it gets stuck, the tray stops functioning; without proper mass transfer, the tower cannot operate properly. If the sticking occurs during installation, it is a problem related to the manufacturing or installation of the internal components, while if it happens after prolonged operation, it is due to sticking that needs to be cleared.
