Is it necessary to have a separate pressure-taking pipeline for the lockbox design?

For the lock-hopper system, a separate pressure tapping pipeline is designed, with a pressure gauge installed on it. Is it necessary to design this separate pipeline? The aim is to eliminate such a pressure tapping pipeline and reduce the number of openings in the equipment that are subject to fatigue.
Most likely, there are no separate pressure tapping pipes; they are now installed on the flushing water pipeline.
All three sets of equipment I’ve worked with were set up in this way: two sets were from Donghua, and one set was from Tianchen. I think it’s sufficient to install them on the high-pressure bypass pipes at the inlet for the lockbox flushing water.
Shenhua Baotou, designed by Tianchen. There is also no dedicated pressure tapping tube. However, the Shaanxi Changqing designed by Donghua does exist; I think there’s absolutely no need to do this.
