Why is the size of the electrolyzer larger at the top than at the bottom?

Recently, when measuring the distance from the front end plate to the rear end plate of the electrolyzer, it was found that the dimension on the upper side is always larger than that on the lower side. Why is this?
It’s like fastening a pair of flanges – there is no absolute equal spacing, only relative uniformity. When adjusting the verticality of the movable end frame of the electrolyzer, there may be a slight deviation, primarily to ensure that the electrolyzer does not leak.
