Removal of unpleasant odors from tank trucks

Our company’s ammonia station has an atmospheric-pressure underground cleaning tank truck with a capacity of about 60 m3, used to receive materials for cleaning the interior of ammonia tank trucks. Ammonia tank trucks are cleaned using 0.4MPa steam; the cleaning time for one truck is approximately 1 hour, with a steam consumption of 0.15 T per ton. After cleaning, they are sent to the storage tanks of the cleaning truck. Due to the high temperature, there is a strong odor from the venting. There is no circulating water around; only domestic water is available. It has been reported multiple times due to the unpleasant odor; please help us come up with some solutions!

Is the smell stronger when an ammonia tank truck is emptied or when a storage tank is emptied? Ammonia tank trucks can be connected to storage tanks via pipes to prevent the spread of odor ； For storage tanks, the tank vents can be equipped with water seals or spraying systems to reduce the diffusion of ammonia gas.
