I wrote about an English teacher from middle school who left a deep impression on me; I’ll write about another mentor who was very kind to me this afternoon when I have time! In my opinion, his skills are quite high, yet he is only assigned the role of a lecturer; on the other hand, some people with higher ranks have teaching skills that are far from satisfactory! Of course, it could also be my own problem! That was a digression; let’s get back to the main topic! I really enjoy listening to his lectures. He speaks in a loud voice; by the end of each class, his back is usually wet (probably due to the weather), and it’s that very thing that helps me remember him! Because other teachers don’t have them! Maybe it’s because I always paid close attention in class and the exams were too easy; once I even got a perfect score, and that made him remember me as well! Then the following thing happened! That year, there was a chemical engineering skills competition, and the school planned to send people to participate in it, as it was the first time such an event took place. The dean is in charge. Since the head of the chemical engineering department didn’t teach in my class, I initially planned to select three students straight from his class. Later, thanks to the recommendation of my teacher, it became two students from his class and me; the three of us went together. For the competition, we three didn’t have to attend classes, and the school even purchased a set of modeling equipment for us to practice with! I was quite happy not having to go to class at that time! Every time we practiced*, he was by our side, teaching us! Of course, the competition results weren’t very good; it’s a bit embarrassing to admit! What’s even more embarrassing is that I can’t remember his name now, but I still have an impression of him! It’s been a few years since I left school, so I don’t really feel much anymore, but when I think of teachers, this is the second teacher who comes to mind – a teacher who left a deep impression on me! I wonder if they are still at school now? I wonder if it has been improved now? Bless him! Alright, that’s enough for now; writing is too tiring – it wastes brain cells!
