I remember that I started working in November 1996; I was assigned to the atmospheric distillation unit of my company, working in the atmospheric pressure section. My mentor’s surname was Wang, and he was known as “Wang Dana”. He had worked in the atmospheric distillation unit for over three years, having worked in various positions; he was a versatile professional with extensive experience and skills, which is why he was called “Wang Dana”. I still remember my first day at work. Since I had no experience in chemical production, I was very curious about everything, and I had no idea how the processes related to my job worked. Fortunately, Master Wang Dana taught me a clever method for memorizing these processes. He had me break down the entire workflow into separate steps and memorize them one by one. Moreover, he patiently guided me through each step, from start to finish, which allowed me to quickly grasp the procedures involved in my job. I was able to achieve good results in the periodic tests, and all of this was thanks to Master Wang Dana’s guidance. Master Wang is also someone who tends to use his brain actively and think a lot. In his daily work, he often manages to identify useful production experiences. I remember one winter afternoon when Master Wang became enthusiastic; he said to me with a smile, \"Come on, let’s go to the site – I’ll teach you a trick for figuring out whether the circulating water pipes are unobstructed or frozen in winter.\" So I followed him to the side branch of the circulating water system. There, he picked up some snow that was left in a corner (it snows frequently in the north during winter, so it’s common to find snow in such corners) and scattered it on the pipe. The snow melted instantly. After that, Master Wang looked at me and asked, \"Do you understand now?\" I said: The flowing water melted the snow. The master said ； Yes. If the snow does not melt, it means this section of the pipeline is frozen. Master Wang has much more production experience, which cannot be listed all here. In 2016, I left my previous employer due to organizational restructuring, while Master Wang stayed there. I heard recently that he has become the head of a certain workshop, and I’m truly happy for him.
