What materials are the O-rings for the gas and liquid phase loading nozzles of propylene generally made of? Our unit uses fluororubber, but because the temperature is low in the north, it becomes hard and loses its elasticity. Are there any other materials with good elasticity and low-temperature resistance available? The medium is liquid propylene. Some manufacturers say that silicone rubber can be used, but the people in our company say it cannot be used (as it is not resistant to chemicals). Which one is correct?
Silicone rubber won’t work; only fluororubber and perfluororubber will do
