I seek advice from experts: For a tower designed for dewaxing, at the beginning of operation, no light components are produced and the feed to the unit is propane. In order to maintain the pressure at the pump inlet, can the pressure in the tower be increased to the normal operating pressure when the feed is dewaxed gas?
Yes, by providing more heat at the bottom of the tower and taking less heat from the top, the tower pressure will naturally increase.
