Under the influence of factors such as environmental protection, safety, and market conditions, the fine chemical industry and the traditional oil refining industry are facing the greatest changes and transformations in their history, with many companies likely to be eliminated. The industry is set to undergo a reshuffle, and it remains uncertain as to how those of us who work in instrument control technology and management will make choices during this change and transformation, and to what extent our future career plans will be affected. I hope to have active discussions with everyone to jointly address the changes in the industry.
There is a trend toward consolidating related fields such as electrical (low-voltage operation and maintenance), instrumentation, automatic control, and on-site IT infrastructure maintenance, in order to reduce the number of management staff. In the future, maintenance personnel will be required to have multiple skills and work together to enhance their value as workers, so that the company’s labor costs can be minimized.

Change and transformation are merely superficial forms; the underlying issue is overcapacity, with supply far exceeding demand. Basically, those old days will never return. To start with the unfortunate aspect: the previous period of rapid development led to the cultivation of a large number of talents. In the future, as the market shrinks, it will be entirely normal for those who were once talented to become unemployed. There are only a few such locations, and there are plenty of people with the skills to get them. You can figure out what the outcome will be just by thinking about it. So things were going well before, but suddenly there was a drastic change at work; sometimes it’s not really your own fault. The situation is stronger than a person! On the positive side, if one had the strength before. It shows that a person’s cognitive and learning abilities are all in order; coupled with the experience gained over the years, it is not impossible to start anew and stand out in a new field. Making efforts in the right direction always yields rewards.

Also, even in a good market, it’s not enough to just have the capability to succeed. You did it – then aren’t those powerful nations supposed to make money? In a poor market, how much can be made? Is it necessary to cultivate it gradually? It has been cultivated – how much of it truly belongs to you? . . The road ahead is long. Returning to the individual level, there are amounts of money that one might earn, but for which one might lose their life – who would dare to earn such money? Even if it doesn’t come to that, leaving one’s hometown – how much compensation would be needed to make people willing to go? At least in several places in the Middle East, no matter how high the salary is, I wouldn’t want to go there. Martyrs can only be honored on their tombstones. To go out means to have **a strength as great as that of the United States. The place I go to has an environment similar to China’s, and its people are like those in my own country. Only then can one go out and take a chance. Everyone is happy to settle down
