This post was last edited by wxn9930066 on 2016-1-13 at 17:15. For a flue pipeline (DN1000mm, temperature 440 degrees, exhaust volume 86,000 m3/h, pressure 100 mbar), is it possible to design a closable louver on the outlet of this type of flue pipeline to protect it from rain?
If rain protection is the only concern, it would be more convenient to simply use a rain hat. Closed blinds are not easy to operate
If the rain cover is too small, it won’t provide protection against rain; if it’s too large, it hinders smoke exhaust. Once the smoke is blocked by the rain cover and forced to flow back, it may be drawn in by the air conditioner.
