What are the reasons for excessive dust levels in gas boilers? How should it be adjusted in terms of operation?
If there is a lot of ash on the heated surface, carry out the following actions: 1. If the alkali metal content in the gas is too high, filter the gas if possible; 2. Avoid operating the boiler at low load; the lower the load, the lower the flue gas flow rate, which reduces the scouring effect of the flue gas on the tubes of the heating surfaces ; 3. Install a boiler soot blower; steam soot blowing is preferred. If there is too much dust at the boiler flue gas outlet, it is a problem with the dust collector – its dust removal efficiency is too low; what needs to be repaired should be repaired, and what needs to be upgraded should be upgraded.
I’m not quite sure what the original poster is asking. Does “exceeding the standard” refer to the dust level emitted from the chimney being above the allowed limit? If so, it is mostly due to a failed dust collector; check the dust collector.
If it’s dust, then there’s no dust collector.
Where does so much dust come from in gas boilers? Could it be that the gas entering already contains a high amount of dust?
Soot is also a type of dust, only its particle size is much smaller, on the order of mist, for example, less than 0.5 microns. From what you say, the gas itself should be pure; therefore, the excessive smoke and dust at the outlet must be caused by incomplete combustion of the gas.
