The reaction vessels are all independent; the temperature of the inner pot should range from 100 degrees to 180 degrees (depending on the requirements of the material). How should heat transfer oil be selected? Each reactor is equipped with electric heating, with power levels ranging from 6 kW to 30 kW. However, there is no circulation system, which results in uneven heating. Is there any way to improve this?
At this temperature, steam is sufficient; there is no need for heat transfer oil.
For heat transfer oil, ordinary mineral oil can meet the requirements. Is your reactor used for continuous or batch production?
A regular heat transfer oil furnace will suffice; the furnace does not need to operate at such a high temperature. The heating tubes of the reaction kettle should be multi-pass type to achieve more even heating.
It is batch production. Currently, Shounuo’s heat transfer oil has been chosen
If there is no circulation, it has a significant impact on the lifespan of the heat transfer oil. For temperatures between 100 and 180 degrees, heat transfer oil of type 300 produced by reputable manufacturers will suffice; there is no need to use products from Shounuo as their prices are too high… These reaction vessels can be connected together to create a circulating system, with coiled tubes installed inside the vessels for heating. But by installing a valve on each tank, it’s possible to isolate them; when a particular tank is needed, that tank can be opened, allowing the oil to circulate continuously in the main pipeline. Using heat transfer oil in this way is cost-effective and results in a longer lifespan. If the oil isn’t circulated, it deteriorates quickly, and no heat transfer oil, not even that from Shounuo, can last very long.
Thank you to everyone above; in the end, I still connected everything together and made it loop
However, is it necessary to run at full speed during the heating process?
Yes, the flow rate of the heat transfer oil is 2 meters per second. You can ask Shounuo to show it to you; just find the salesperson who sold you the oil. A big brand like Shounuo surely won’t ignore such things! ! !
