Suggestions for professional knowledge and case studies in the Chemical Engineering exam

I would like to ask those who have passed the Certified Public Accountant exam: what should be taken into consideration when answering the questions related to professional knowledge and case studies in this exam? Are there any tips? Also, even though it’s allowed to use reference materials while doing the problems, I feel that there are many formulas that I can’t remember without looking at them; and looking in the books makes me feel like I don’t have enough time. How do the experts handle this? Is the exam time extremely tight? How to deal with time issues? Please share your suggestions. No spam, thank you! :handshake
Writing the formula on paper means there’s no need to look at the book
It is recommended to bring plenty of materials and to take a quick look at them before the exam, so they are easy to find when needed
Do more practice questions to improve your speed
There are no shortcuts; read more books and do more exercises. 700 hours of study and 1,000 pages of draft paper are the guarantee of success
I passed the exam in one go back in 2014. My experience is that one must understand the basic knowledge of chemical engineering principles, and must be able to apply them flexibly. Principles of chemical engineering are very important.
Speaking of materials I brought, I only brought the textbook on principles of chemical engineering, a tutorial on complex calculations, fire safety regulations, and another set of standards; I didn’t bring anything else. You should work through past exam papers, not skipping any question; understand them carefully. In my opinion, 3 hours is sufficient time for this.
