Depending on the acid gas load in the visamine solution and the regeneration load, the bottom temperature I have seen ranges from 115, 118, 121, to 124, while the top temperature is between 112 and 98. The higher the load, the higher the bottom temperature and the lower the top temperature.

This value of mine should be quite low – the bottom temperature is 108, the temperature of the reflux stream from the reboiler is between 110 and 113, and the pressure is 15 kPa. I set the top temperature of the regeneration tower at 109–120, and the bottom temperature at 118–130; usually, they are controlled at 115/128 respectively. . Initially, we paid little attention to the top temperature; later, we encountered a problem: when the top temperature was too low, the hydrogen sulfide content in the regenerated lean liquid from the regeneration tower was high. Consequently, we increased the steam supply to the reboiler at the bottom of the tower, keeping the top temperature above 110, which resulted in a significant improvement in the quality of the lean liquid. .
