Does the central control computer display the on-site instruments as nan?

What kind of fault in the field instruments can cause the computer in the control room to display Nan?
There are defects; the exact number isn’t known, and there’s a power outage... I think it depends on how the DCS configuration is set – it’s possible that any kind of problem will result in this kind of display; it’s not fixed, right?
Honey’s? Bad value; check the entire circuit and point configuration.
