How are the grounding pole switches of the high-voltage cabinet used when closing and opening? It is mainly for safety reasons. If simultaneous closing is allowed, any mistake in operation could lead to a high probability of closing the circuit with the ground wire connected. Closing the circuit with a ground wire connected results in a three-phase metallic short circuit, which poses a severe threat to the power grid. Therefore, both the grounding switch and the circuit breaker have interlocking mechanisms within their closing circuits: the grounding switch prevents the circuit breaker from closing when it is in the closed position, and the circuit breaker prevents the grounding switch from closing when it is in the closed position. Of course, there is also a interlocking relationship between the grounding switch and the isolating switch; mechanical interlocking as well as electrical interlocking are used for this purpose. The aim of such a design is once again to prevent three-phase short circuits caused by human error.
How are the grounding pole switches of the high-voltage cabinet used when closing and opening? The ground blade is usually at a 90-degree angle; this is primarily determined by the requirements of its mechanical structure. A 90-degree angle allows for better fixation and stability after operation. . So far, I haven’t seen any ground blade that isn’t at a 90-degree angle. It is certainly possible to customize non-standard ground knives, but it’s not necessary, nor do they offer any better performance.
