How can an individual make process improvements to the heat exchange sequence in a manufacturing process?
Required procedures: (1) Submit the patent application documents to the acceptance office of the **Intellectual Property Office or its local offices in various provinces and cities, and pay the patent application fee as well as any other possible fees; (2) **The Intellectual Property Office conducts the review ; (3) **The Intellectual Property Office issues an authorization notice to proceed with the authorization procedures. To ensure approval for a patent application, it is best to hire a patent attorney to handle it. The specific steps for filing a domestic patent application are as follows: (1) Submit a technical description outlining the key aspects of your technology; if it’s a design-related patent, photos or design drawings must be provided. (2) Prepare the application documents, which are usually done by a patent agent. (3) Submit the application along with the required fees. From the time the application is submitted to the patent office until the approval process is completed and the approval certificate is issued, if a patent agency is hired, the total cost for the entire process is approximately 5,000 yuan per patent invention, 2,000 yuan for utility models, and 1,500 yuan for design patents. (4) Examination (**a matter handled by the Intellectual Property Office)) (5) Granting of authorization, issuance of an authorization notice, and handling of payment and authorization procedures. (From application to approval, it generally takes about 10 months for utility models and 6 months for design patents)
There are specialized agencies that will handle the filing on your behalf; you just need to pay the fees.
If the management is unwilling to approve the application, does one have to pay out of pocket? As for how people solve such problems, it’s just my personal speculation. The new leader is only 2 years older than me and is said to have strong technical skills; so if I apply for a patent that falls within his area of responsibility, will he simply suppress such applications? I really don’t understand anything about applying for invention patents for the first time; are there any conflicts of interest among colleagues in this process?
Two questions were raised upstairs. Question 1: Patent holders can be either individuals or companies. In the case of an individual’s patent, the benefits generated (such as patent royalties or fees from the sale of the patent) belong to that individual, who is also responsible for covering the costs associated with applying for and maintaining the patent. Conversely, the company will pay. Of course, the company bears the costs; if there are profits in the future, they cannot be taken all by the company. Rewards should be based on performance, or reflected in salary and benefits. Question two: For patent inventors, use your own full name when it comes to individual inventions. If it is an invention made while employed by the company, multiple names can be listed. Be generous and include the leaders, chief engineers, and all the key personnel who were involved in the invention; this will bring honor to everyone involved and also be useful when applying for professional titles.
From my experience, for patent authorship, the leader must be listed. Firstly, it can secure more support for future work and research and development; secondly, it at least demonstrates a magnanimous attitude. Some people are not good at achieving success, but if they set their mind to causing failure, they will succeed 100%.
