Our company is a petroleum refining enterprise, and we now need to calculate the equipment integrity rate. We’re not sure which types of equipment should be included in this calculation; we would appreciate some advice from those with more experience. The more detailed, the better. Thank you
Static equipment (towers, vessels, heat exchangers, heating furnaces, filters, storage tanks, valves……) Dynamic equipment (pumps, compressors, fans, reaction vessels, lifting equipment……)

Here, we generally divide them into stationary equipment and moving equipment; simply put, those without motors and those with motors. If your company can access the fixed asset register, you can also conduct the statistics based on the equipment listed in that register. The equipment availability rate is generally calculated based on a specified range and time period. Data on equipment damage, abnormal failures, unplanned shutdowns, maintenance, etc., for each process or workshop in every statistical period is used to determine the equipment reliability rate.
